Chocolate chip brioche

Yummy a good chocolate chips brioche, spongy, delicious, tasty. It melts in our mouth. Everything we need to have a good snack or breakfast.

What I like about this chocolate chip brioche is the smell of it in all over the house.

what-you-need

500g of all purpose flour
250g of lukewarm milk
2 eggs
5 tbsp of sugar
1 pack of yeast
1 tsp of salt
80g of soft butter
1 cup of chocolate chips

how-to

In a small bowl mix together the lukewarm milk, the sugar, the yeast let aside for 5mins until little foam appear.
In a big bowl mix together the flour, the butter, 1 egg and the salt until well combined. Then pour the milk mixture and mix until the dough is consistent.

Let the dough rise. I count between 1h30 and 2h.

Once the size has double, take the air out of the dough then pour the chocolate chips until well combined.
Cut the dough into 3 equal pieces and roll them until they’re doing 30/40cm. Then braid then on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Let it rise again 1h somewhere hot.

Chocolate chip brioche

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C
Once the size has double, put some yolk on it then bake until golden-brown, during 30min

Served with a glass of fresh milk. Delicious!
